Blessing for the waiting

**for the first week of Advent

Go forth
In anticipation of Emmanuel’s arrival.
Cry out to the God
Who creates life in the dark, hidden spaces
Groan with Creation
For the glory of the Lord 
To be the light within our midst.
And worship the One who is worthy, 
Who is already
But not quite yet.
